Part of the ALPS programme of work is the delivery of e-learning tools to mobile devices via a shared Mobile Services Platform, a unique IT solution with a central service that ties into the authentication, student data and virtual learning systems of each of the five HEIs.

This is a comprehensive e-learning package including interprofessional assessment tools alongside the students’ use of the devices for immediate reflective learning through audio, visual and text capture. All content is encrypted and securely uploaded via the Mobile Services Platform to an e-portfolio - anytime, anywhere.

A full training package has been developed to support the students' use of the Assessment Suite and Tools. All training material is available of the ALPS Support Website at www.alpsweb.net.
