Cost Benefit Analysis
In August 2009 ALPS commissioned The ROI Academy to undertake a Cost Benefit Analysis (CBA) of ALPS assessment methods. Find out more about the aims and criteria of the CBA here.
ALPS Research Capacity Funding
In 2007 ALPS awarded funding to projects which were designed to advance the goals of the ALPS programme and build additional research capacity within the partnership, to further the cross-institutional goals of ALPS. For outlines of the three funded projects and links to their final reports click here.
Research Projects
The ALPS research programme has been developed and is maintained by the ALPS Research Management Group. The programme was developed to support a series of ‘Thematic Priorities’ for ALPS research, which, as their name suggests, were key targets for research outputs from the ALPS programme. Various research projects which are being carried out by ALPS groups and partners either on behalf of, or in association with ALPS, to contribute to the research programme can be viewed here.
Evaluation
For details of the evaluation projects of various ALPS work streams including work on the assessment tools, mobile technologies, and the ALPS Group Study Area at the University of Leeds click here.
Research Network
As a collaborative programme between five HEIs and one NHS partner, ALPS provides a unique opportunity to develop research relationships. The purpose of the Research Interest Network is to bring together people with similar research interests, to facilitate research and research discussions across the ALPS programme more
Research Guidelines and Protocol
In order to ensure that the interests of all ALPS partners are represented in the best possible way, the ALPS Research Management Group has developed a quality assurance process which all papers must go through before being submitted for publication or conference. Please use these documents if you are intending to submit a paper to a conference or journal on behalf of ALPS here
ALPS research and evaluation work is overseen by the ALPS Research Management Group with support from the ALPS eValuation Group and the ALPS Research Baselines and Outcomes Group. |
