Interest in assessment and learning/ health & social care/practice placements/higher education |
|
I am passionate about good social work practice and have worked independently to encourage good practice, including training, research and publication of Think Parent and expert witness work. I believe that it is crucial for the future and reputation of social care that placements are of the highest standard and succeed in embedding theory into good practice. I was also as a Disabled Person unable to do the practice placements I wanted to when qualifying as a social worker as few placements were accessible.
As a Disabled Person I am a user of social care services, and understand the emotional and personal impact of having a social work assessment. |
