Common Competency Mapping Group
Terms of Reference
  • To define and agree terms - what is a common competency mapping tool, what should it include, what is a common assessment tool, what should it include?
  • To develop a shared and agreed understanding and definition of the common areas (communication, team working, ethical practice - starting with communication) 
  • To identify and build on work done already
  • To agree a methodology for future work
  • To identify and disseminate existing good practice
  • To work with ALPS Research Officer and Research Group to define the research required to assess the impact of the tools that are developed
  • Provide the Knowledge Management Tool (KMT) Group with specification, and the information needed to develop the IT solutions

    Chair: Julie Laxton
    Other members: One representative from each partner

    Frequency of meeting: Once every six weeks
