Towards a competent and confident professional workforce: an interprofessional partnership between ALPS, employer representatives and Professional, Statutory and Regulatory Bodies

ALPS hosted the third seminar of the Professional, Statutory and Regulatory Bodies (PSRBs) of the 16 professional subjects involved with the ALPS programme. The aims of the day were:

• to provide an update on the development of ALPS tools & techniques and how PSRB feedback has been acted upon
• to encourage delegates to see new methods of assessment as an enhancement to assessment
• to identify ways in which ALPS practices can be embedded in key stakeholder agendas for 2010+
• to engage a broader range of stakeholders in embedding ALPS activities in health and social care staff development e.g Skills for Health, Skills for Care, Department of Health
